Obstetrics And Gynecology - Practice opportunity is to be in solo private practice with your own office and share call or be a W-2 Salaried Hospital Employee, Either Income Guarantee or Salaried position. This is a perm position only, No Locums and no FP̢۪s who want to focus on OB. Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to become Certified. MD or DO, but no visa candidates. Equipment includes NOVASure, ESSURE. This is laparoscopic surgery, general GYN and OB procedures. Average 16-22 patients per day. Recruitment into existing well-established practice, option to become partner after 2.5 years.
Practice call and Unassigned call is 1:3
Hysteroscopy and ablation equipment, Ultrasound equipment, Colpo, Cryo, NST, LEEP Same Specialty: 3 physicians and 1 mid-wife (current count as of 6/13/2012, may decrease by 1) Same Group: 2 physicians and 1 mid-wife (current count as of 6/13/2012, may decrease by 1) 1 OB/GYN retired in early 2011 1 OB/GYN will likely be leaving in early 2013 Hospital delivers approximately 700 babies per year Neonatology and Perintology, and High Risk are all shipped out. No NICU, a well Level 1 nursery only. Can do a lot of Gyn and Uro Gyn work: Incontinence, Slings, etc. Can be busy immediately â€" turn key practice.
Sign-on, relocation, student loan (if appropriate), marketing, practice management (depending on contract type) are all offered on a case-by-case basis Recent retirement (1) and physician leaving area (1) Other physicians in community will welcome new blood in OB Department Approximately 25% Medicaid, 5% self-pay and 65%-70% commercial. Commercial contracts are predominately percent of charges, as high as 95%. Practice is located within Hospital on campus Practice has established referral pattern to a University Both PSA & SSA- Patients are currently being seen from communities as far as 3.5 hours away.
