Physician Family Medicine

Location: Las Vegas Nevada

3.Systems-based practice, as manifested by actions that demonstrate an awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care and the ability to effectively call on system resources to provide care that is of optimal value.

Residency trained, board certified or board eligible (required); active unrestricted Medical license, DEA, Pharmacy license

Positions in this function are responsible for overseeing and participating in day to day clinical care of patients. Employees are involved in direct patient care (in a clinic, in-home care, etc.)

Knowledge: The family physician receives a broad range of training that includes internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry and geriatrics. Special emphasis is placed on wellness and primary care of entire families, utilizing consultants and community resources where appropriate.

Skills/Abilities: Ability to read, write, and clearly speak English, bilingual skills are a plus.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills are essential.

Experience: Must have completed a 3 year ACGME accredited residency program, and must be board eligible or board certified.

Must have completed Medical School, Residency program, USMLE exam, and be board eligible or board certified for either the American Board of Medical Specialties (MDs) or the American Board of Osteopathic Specialties (Dos).
