Matrix Providers is a major contracting company providing high quality physician, ancillary, nursing, and technician services to the DoD and Federal Sector.Nellis AFB has a projected need for a clinical nurse â€" women’s health.Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical nurse in women’s health within the past 4 years. Must have experience in providing direct patient care, patient and staff education, administration, and/or research. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development, and pathophysiology of disease processes, specific to the obstetrical and gynecological population from neonates through geriatrics.
Knowledge of professional care theories, principles, practices. Knowledge of a variety of pharmacological agents used in patient treatments. Knowledge of a wide range of medical disorders to include sickle cell anemia, diabetes, sexually transmitted diseases, thyroid disorders, hypertension, and cardiac disease and their potential impact on perinatal outcomes, as well as broad knowledge of normal delivery variations, their complications, and indicated therapeutic intervention required. Knowledge of computer operations.
Skilled in setting up, operating and monitoring specialized medical equipment such as IV infusion pumps, cardiac monitoring devices, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, suction equipment, nebulizers, and other unit specific equipment.Candidate must be a US citizen.
