Under the direct supervision of the designated coordinator, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to th! e nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Develops and participates in the care plan of the patient.
Graduate from accredited school of nursing. Valid Nevada RN license required. Current BLS certification required and within one year of hire must obtain neonatal resuscitation certification, NRP certification is preferred. A minimum of at least one year experience in an acute care OB/GYN setting, with previous experience in labor and delivery, couplet care/nursery required. Will also work mother/baby couplet care, circulate in C/S, occasionally be required to float to pediatrics. Comfortable working with computers.
