The following opportunity is available: RN III â" L&D Responsible for providing patient care based upon the nursing process; being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Qualified candidate must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing and have completed an approved critical care course.
One year of acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course required. Qualified candidate must have Current RN license in the State of Nevada, current BCLS Certification, current ACLS Certification and current NRP Certification. Candidates hired into specialty training course mus! t obtain required certifications prior to completion of course and must also be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department. Please note that an RN graduate is a nurse who has completed a course of study at a school of nursing and is eligible for the NCLEX.
The RN graduate performs directly under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or RN designee. An interim RN license must be granted by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
