Phlebotomist - Phlebotomy Technician

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Hours: 8:00am - 1:00PM, Monday through Friday (Part time also available)
Pay Rate: $12.00-$13.00 per hour, DOE

Job Description:
Phlebotomist - Phlebotomy Technician needed for busy local patient service center and/or doctor office. Both a Full and Part-time shift is available. Full time hours are 8A-5P Mon-Fri. Part time hours are 8A-12Noon, Mon-Fri. Occasional Saturday's may be requested. Ideal candidate will have the ability to successfully draw back-to-back patients throughout the day, process specimens for shipment, and perform data entry of patient information while maintaining the h! ighest of patient care standards.

Requirements:

• State Phlebotomy Certification where required
• High School diploma or GED
• A minimum of 1 year paid phlebotomy experience
• Excellent venipuncture technique
• Thorough tube knowledge
• Customer service attitude
• Data entry skills
• Ability to successfully draw the hardest of patients and draw patient after patient with no re-sticks
• Pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Proven and verifiable track record of dependability with a strong work ethic

Preference given to candidates who possess the following skills:

• Experience in any one of the following specialties: OB/GYN, Oncology, Pediatrics and/or Geriatrics
• High volume drawing experience (50+) per day in an environment where the sole responsibility is to draw patients back-to-back throughout the entire shift, such as work at a hospital or reference laboratory
• Bilingual
