Nevada Health Centers, Inc. (NVHC) seeks a full-time Clinical Director of OB/GYN Services to work in an outpatient setting treating and diagnosing p! atients at our Martin Luther King Medical Center an outpatient! Family Health Center located in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.
The OB/GYN center is open Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. The center averages 44 to 50 patient encounters/daily, 916 patient encounters /monthly, 11,000 patient encounters annually and approximately 2,500 patients. The ob/gyn center is staffed by four physicians and one mid-level provider and employs a support staff of 11. OB/GYN Center services, pregnancy care, women's health, women's procedures, family planning, women's health education.
Physician will work 3 days a week in the outpatient clinic and 2 days spent providing inpatient care and/or participation in OB call schedule. Obstetricians deliver about 120-140 babies a month and utilizes Nextgen 8 EMR. The Martin Luther King Medical Center is recognized by the National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), level III.

Desired Experience
- Minimum of five to eight years experience in a clinical practice with good clinical skills/ability to function as Ob/Gyn physician
- Minimum three to five years supervisory/management experience; Masters in Management beneficial
- Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice
- Experience in building and leading teams
- Must be licensed in the State of Nevada

- Minimum three to five years supervisory/management experience ; Masters in Management beneficial
- Supervises clinical care for ObGyn services ! for all NVHC sites
- Serves as resource on policy and procedure for the Standards of ObGyn practice and clinical operations
- Encourages continuity of care and case management
- Participates in the development of clinical policy and procedures
- Will be member of the Medical Executive Committee (MEC)
- Participants in Quality Assurance and Risk Management program that includes clinical protocols, review of medical records, clinical information system, continuing professional education, patient satisfaction, follow up of adverse outcomes, etc.
- Ensures compliance and oversee ObGyn providers proficiency review process
- Identifies continuing education and training needs for ObGyn providers and staff
- Conducts medical records review (chart audits)
- Ensures education of ObGyn clinical protocols established prior to implementation of service expansion projects
