The Sonographer performs various ultrasound exams including, but not limited to: Breasts, abdominal, Vascular, DVT, Head/Neck, Thyroid/Parathyroid, MSK and pelvic exams. You will be working with the latest in Siemens ABVS, GE and Logiq Ultrasound technology, alongside some of the greatest Radiologists in the country. Along with our constant growth comes individual training for you.
Job Related Functions:
- Demonstrates competency in the performance of job related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services
- Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and m aintains operational logs
- Performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization
- Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Works under general supervision
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires registration with A.R.D.M.S.
- SimonMed Imaging requires valid hands on CPR certification < /ul>
- Sonography: 1 year (Required)
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- CPR (Required)
- A.R.D.M.S (Required)
Required Education: High school or equivalent.
Required Experience: 1 year preferred
