Associate – Central Demand Intake Team

Your key responsibilities
As part of GDS Central Demand Intake (CDI) team, you will be assigned to a region/ country/ service offering / competency/ sector to capture and record all demand requests in the applicable demand intake tools, along with all relevant details and heuristics needed for effective internal and external fulfilment of the demand.
You will be responsible to work in close coordination with the demand management and business teams in capturing staffing demand projections, analyze demand intake patterns, identify all key details related to the demand – skills, proficiency, rank, scope of work, location, start date, end date, deal value, demand hours/ FTEs etc.
You will also be responsible to share all relevant updates related to the demands with the Service Line leadership and broader experience management team for effective fulfilment planning.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Work with the demand management and business teams to predict/forecast demand pipeline based on upcoming deals, market leadership plans, growth estimates and other projections.
- Capture demand pipeline, understand demands heuristics, and identify actionable demand.
- Record all demands in the applicable demand intake systems to generate a unique demand ID.
- Regularly review open demands with the business leaders, identify changes to demand details and update the same in the demand intake tools in real-time to enable accurate demand insights
- Report all demand KPIs and demand outlook to the relevant stakeholders
- Provide all demand details to the Experience Management POCs and answer all demand related queries posted by the team.
- Partner with Experience Management team to capture the demand fulfilment status into demand management systems
Skills and attributes for success
Graduates with 2-3 years of relevant workforce management experience. Understanding of business models, operational and financial aspects of service delivery will be preferred. The suitable candidate should have good communication, negotiations, reporting and analytical skills, can compute staffing demands, validate skills and experiences associated with the demand.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent teaming and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to perform under tight timelines.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Working knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, power Apps and Spotfire.
- Working knowledge and subject matter expertise in resource management, demand planning and scheduling in reputed consulting, technology, financial services, accounting or professional services organizations.
