Marketing Planning & Reporting Analyst


 

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES


The role is part of Marketing team and responsible for bringing innovation, creativity, energy, and a positive attitude to our team. This position is an integral role within the SP&I function and is responsible for Polaris Forecasting Reporting Support maintenance as well as IBPM Support, looking after all the categories in our portfolio from a SOP reporting point of view.

Reports to: GBS Sr. Manager SOP Support - Polaris

Reporting Level: Non-Management

Geographic Scope: Monterrey, Mexico


WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR


  • Support the system input management ensuring accurate and timely inputs.
  • Support the new system activities post-go live and support the adoption.
  • Support the preparation of material and deck for senior forums related to input alignment for the tool.
  • Reconciliations of volume differences or changes MoM and walk through to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the planning team on different tasks related to volume reporting for all categories on portfolio.
  • Extract relevant information from systems such as MicroStrategy/dashboards & update the team on commercial KPIs, performance, state level views etc.
  • Perform ad-hoc query related to strategic exercises such as financial scenarios, current plus five scenarios.
  • Support meeting material development & standardisation for the Sales & Operations Planning cycle.

  • Have you worked in a detail-oriented role that provides essential information for leadership decision-making?
  • Have you worked with large amounts of data and applied a business intelligence tool (front or back end)?
  • What would be your approach to analyse a financial database? How would you arrange the data dump for it to make sense?


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE


  • 3+ years of experience in Financial or Commercial Analysis, Marketing, or related area.
  • Hands-on experience in finance models and reporting tools.
  • Good commercial awareness and strong understanding of domain along with BAT strategy and business model
  • At least 3 years of experience in domain, senior stakeholder management and project management in a large-scale organisation.
  • Highly disciplined in data and documentation management
  • Writing, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills to a high standard and in fluent English (the working language).
  • Highly skilled in Excel.
  • Graduate in Engineering / Statistics / Economics / Maths
