WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Panel ESG Analyst, you will support the analysis and assessment of green transactions from the European region (Spain, UK, Portugal and Poland) from a risk perspective. Organization of European ESG Panel, with the participation of multiple stakeholders across the organization.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Support ESCC risk manager on the review of proposed green deals (transaction terms, relevant KPIs,...) to address risk of greenwashing for the european region (Spain, UK, Portugal and Poland)
- Support the generation of risk opinion on proposed green deals, providing technical expertise to ensure transactions are consistent with existing regulations and alligned with Santander's strategy
- Ensure adequate documentation of the green deals lifecycle processes
- Generate agenda and minutes of european ESG Panel
- Coordinate with local fora on european region to ensure consistency on decisions
- Provide technical support and training to local european risk analysts to help expand ESCC culture across the teams in the region
- Participate in the design of technical solution to support the ESG Panel activities
- Support ESG Panel chairman on the interactions with supervisors and internal audit with regards to european ESG Panel
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience related to environmental and/or social matters consultancy.
EDUCATION
- Higher education in environmental science, forest engineering, biology or similar
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent level of Spanish and English is mandatory
- Knowledge of Portuguese or Polish appreciated
- Good knowledge of office management aplications (teams, power point, excel, sharepoint,...)
