Part Time Patient Care (Contract)

The Patient Care contractor will support relationships at their assigned transplant center. You will be an integral part of our commercial team and will be responsible for center based support of the ordering process for CareDx diagnostic tests. Work with center personnel to ensure orders for patient tests are complete. Liaise between center personnel and CareDx cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions. Identify on-going service problems through trend analysis and proactively propose long-term solutions for root issues.
Update the patient and center level records as information changes. Coordinate with the laboratory staff and other members of the team to expedite timely processing of samples and customer inquiries. Maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations referenced in CareDx SOPs, including HIPAA, CLIA, FDA, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with CareDx order processing
- Print the Careportal order in the ref lab
- Insert printed order into kits prior to shipment to CareDx
- Obtain proper documentation from providers to support the receipt of medically valid orders
- Obtain necessary progress notes from the day of service to assist reimbursement
- Assist with AlloMap processing workflows and questions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- BS or BA Degree preferred (Health Science degree strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of medical or clinical diagnostics industry operations preferred
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment
- Proven track record of performance in a fast paced environment and organizational skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in reporting and data analytic tools like Excel, Salesforce.com
- Excellent problem solving skills, detail oriented with focus on quality and accuracy
